The Arc of Hilo offers participants full or part-time paid employment on our contracted work crews at various private, county, state, and federal locations.
Our job coaches prepare individuals with disabilities for competitive employment in the community while employed on one of our contracted work crews. Coaching includes identifying the individual's interests and skill, and assessing the areas that need improvement so we can help each person succeed. We offer hands-on training and support for interviews and other job skills for successful transition to employment.
Our contracts may be in specific areas as listed below or occur in the greater business community and prepares people to work in many different positions in the community.
